Mine is almost attached to my hip. Sometimes too clinging. He wants to watch me 24/7, NO BREAK.
ONLY PROB; He gets Separation Anxiety, that is a issue. How do I break the cycle?

Maltese are the BEST BREED OF DOG.
I’ve had Maltese all my life.
They are perfect companions, so cute, funny, adorable, they don’t smell doggy or shed.
They are the best dog for any family.

I loved mine so much he was very protective over me. And he loved me as I did him. Hen died in 2020 I am still broken hearted I miss my Max. I am to sick now to have a dog I’m on oxygen 24 7. But I remember it took my Grandson 4 hours to get the dog for me. And for Christmas they got me a fake dog I can turn on and off when I’m done. It wags its tail and ears and it cry’s.

Don't buy a Maltese dog because it will break your heart when you loose them, My Maltese went with me everywhere even to the bathroom, she went hill walking with me when i could, played games with me and made me laugh at her funny antics, her little black eyes followed my every word and when i was sick she lay down and cuddled me, you will never find another dog as loyal and loving, but when she got sick, it broke my heart to put her to sleep, its five years now and I still haven't got over her, so don't get a Maltese if you don't want your heart broken, I'm a lost cause I cant help myself and as Maltese number 8 & 9 cuddle into my back just where my pain is, I say a little prayer and thank god for Maltese

I lost my little Rascal in April of 2021. It has been the saddest past year of my life. He was the best little boy to me. My father passed away in 2011. Rascal stayed by side the whole time. Everytime I would get up he was right by my side. Comforting me. It was just me and him. He never
Ceased to love me unconditionally. Even to his last days. He was 15. I still cry. And I miss him so much. It is very hard to loose them.

I lost our maltese/yorkie mix Mindy, to conjestive heart failure at age nine. Is this somewhat common in the maltese breed? We still miss her. She was super friendly, loyal, great with the 2 cats and 2nd terrier.

I am on my 4th Maltese, yes, my 4th and it would be my 5th but the 1st one was 1/2 Maltese and something else. If you do not want to be loved, adored and have your face crack with smiles and laughs and you can't stand to be away from them for even 5 minutes then do not get a Maltese, I have had other breeds of dogs but I am telling you a Maltese will change your life and it will be for the best. If I was rich I would buy one for every older person that has lost a loved one so they would know what a loving, adoring companion is to take them through the hard times. If I didn't live where I do I would have 5 Maltese 🙂
